The characters in this book are so easily lovable. The Hawthorne boys all having completely different personalities and have such a brotherly relationship with each other, regardless of all having different fathers. They are very competitive with each other and love to win, despite the costs of winning. Avery Grambs fits in well in the hawthorne house, she excels at puzzles and enjoys going through the mysteries of the Hawthorne house. And solving the big question, why did Tobias Hawthorne leave everything to her, some completely random stranger? This book was very well made, with everything slowly fitting in place. The way the puzzles get slowly solved and everything just made sense. I loved the mysteries to this book, the way you can try to solve it at the same time, constantly guessing if this or that would happen. The way everything fit together perfectly was amazing and I loved it. It's very fast paced, with one puzzle being solved after another. One of the best mystery books i've ever read, would 100% recommend.
