Black Panther is yet another amazing Marvel movie. Carried mainly by special effects, this is a PG-13 movie that follows the story of Wakanda, a city hidden from the outside world. This city is highly developed technologically and made out of vibranium, the strongest material on Earth. Character introduction was done well since I knew who everyone was in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie. This movie was on the longer side, so it also left room for the characters to develop, which they did develop along with the story. While character development is important, what really brought the movie into the better category was the special effects. Wakanda was a futuristic city made all through the computer, which is just amazing to me. It was a new world and it was awesome to see all of Wakanda’s resources integrated into the real world as well. The suits were also really well done. Effect quality was also comparable to Aquaman, a DC movie that also contains a special effect city. Overall, this movie was really enjoyable, and I was able to watch the full 2 hours without getting bored. If you like action-fiction movies and cool effects, I can recommend this movie.
