When an enhanced soldier who is a lethal pathogen with superhuman strength and a smart mind that could wipe out half of Earth’s population, it all comes down to two people with a rivalry to save the day —a lawman and a lawless operative. The movie genre falls under: action, comedy, thriller, adventure, crime fiction, mystery and buddy cop. For this movie, each actor felt as if they belonged to the specific role. Dwayne Johnson’s character, Hobbs, fits him since he looks like a guy who would work for the law. The characters in this movie were well-developed. During the early scenes, we get to know them and what their personalities are like, for example, their daily routines from making breakfast to working out or when they get a call to go and do their jobs. The script for this movie was great. I liked how they added comedy into what seemed like a “serious movie” and the dialogue felt believable. The story for this movie flowed well, it showed how they hated each other and them getting mad for having to work together, but it also showed them making amends later near the end of the movie. The plot of this movie was good. I think that some parts of the movie didn’t have believable events, like some of the car chases, but other than that, there wasn’t anything wrong with it. No storylines were left hanging.
